Telstra Stadium…. oh the memories. Of course it is no more, Sydney’s largest stadium (situated in Sydney Olympic Park) is now called ANZ stadium and, whilst it’s still a popular venue and enjoyed by thousands of people week in week out, the stadium is steeped in history including the largest Olympic stadium in history (110,000) for the Sydney 2000 Olympics and the unforgetable Rugby World Cup in 2003.

We should note that this website is not affiliated with Sydney Olympic Park nor the telco, Telstra but rather is a tribute to all the great events that millions enjoyed at Telstra Stadium. Please get in touch with your ideas as we build this website.

\

Are you planning a big night out in Sydney? Perhaps it’s a concert or sporting event such as the NRL, AFL or the rugby? There’s nothing like the feeling of watching your event – whether sporting, musical or otherwise at a stadium. Things like the NRL grand final, the Bundabery Tri-nations Rugby series, Ben Hur spectacular or the Monster Slam world finals. You just can’t beat it in my opinion.

As the days are getting warmer, you really have no excuse to get out and buy those concert or event tickets and through ticketek or ticketmaster you can often save by doing it in advance. Similarly if you’re booking a hotel, do it in advance and save some money – not to mention any last minute stress. After all it’s your night out – your entertainment! Note: if nyou’re in Melbourne, check out the famous Telstra Dome!
